As the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Para Games is just around the corner, more and more athletes arrived in Guangzhou for the event.
Based on the special features of the event, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Customs House opened for the athletes a wheelchair accessible channel equipped with barrier-free declaration desk and other facilities. Customs officers learned the methods to communicate with the athletes through training materials, trying to create a warm clearance environment for them. Besides, designated officers were dispatched to the control venues to provide guiding and consultation services to ensure a smooth clearance for the athletes.
By December 6, 2010, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Customs House had provided expeditious clearance services to 7 delegations, 97 Asian Para Games family members and overseas media people.
